Dr. Angelika Rampal, MD, FAAP

Dr. Angelika Rampal is a pediatrician, educator and medical author. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford and attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego. She completed her residency and chief residency at UCLA Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has an additional board certification in integrative and holistic medicine.

After her training, Dr. Rampal joined the faculty at UCLA, working in medical education and serving as a supervisory physician to medical students and residents. She remains an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the UCLA department of Pediatrics. A frequent guest speaker at medical conferences on topics ranging from international health to integrative and holistic medicine, Dr. Rampal was on the Today Show, and has been quoted in various publications including the LA Times.

Dr. Rampal currently lives in McLean, VA and practices at Reston Town Center Pediatrics. Dr. Angel, as she is known to her patients, spent much of her early career involved in international health and in the education of medical students and residents. She has spent time working and volunteering in many countries, including, Haiti, Nepal, India and Guatemala. Her interests in cross cultural medicine and nutrition shape her views on medicine.
